Vidas pretas: crônicas sobre histórias de vida e superações de mulheres negras no Amapá

Abstract

The experimental project "Black Lives: Chronicles about life stories and overcoming of black women in Amapá", explores literary journalism and its sub-genre chronicle to reconstruct fifteen non-fiction narratives about stories lived by black women in the state of Amapá. The project addresses social problems, such as racism, obstetric violence, depression, poverty, and parental abandonment, according to the personal perspectives of each character-protagonist. Besides the construction of the chronicles, the book is also illustrated with photo-art produced by the author of this work. The present memoir concerns the analytical and descriptive part of the experimental project, in which the methodological design was made through qualitative bibliographical research, bringing brief theoretical discussions about literary journalism; discourse, memory and identity; as well as, gender and race issues.
