Arquitetura e ferramentas digitais: Na elaboração de proposta arquitetônica- urbanística para o Residencial Mônaco (Macapá-AP)

Abstract

With technological advances, the way of designing in architecture and urbanism has undergone changes. Before, the professional drew on paper with the aid of rulers on a clipboard, now, with the emergence of appropriate software to help and streamline the process of studying and making the project phases, the time spent has decreased. Realizing that technological advances contribute to the presentation and streamlining of architectural and urban projects, the theme ARCHITECTURE AND DIGITAL TOOLS was chosen: In the preparation of an architectural-urban proposal for Residencial Mônaco (Macapá-AP), to demonstrate that software emerged with the aim of facilitating the exercise of the profession by making the architect and urban planner able to carry out several works in a short period of time with equal or even superior quality to that done in the traditional way. The Software History and Evolution chapter identifies the Microsoft Office Package, Google Earth, Autodesk AutoCAD, Trimble SketchUp and Plug-ins, Adobe Photoshop and CorelDRAW programs that were used in the making of the projects of this monograph, telling a little of their history since its emergence, the evolutions that have undergone to the present day, in addition to explaining its applicability in the architecture and urban planning market.
